Ghanaian Team Prepares for International Friendly Against Japan

Camp Details

Eighteen players have gathered at the Ana Crowne Plaza hotel in Nagoya in preparation for an international friendly match against Japan scheduled for Friday, November 14, 2025. Sixteen of these athletes arrived on Tuesday to join two local players, Kelvin Nkrumah and Prince Owusu, who made the journey from Accra on Sunday.

Additionally, goalkeeper Benjamin Asare from Accra Hearts of Oak, who played in the recent Super Clash against Asante Kotoko, is set to join the team on Wednesday. Other players expected to arrive on the same day include Christopher Bonsu Baah, Prince Osei Owusu, and Mohammed Salisu.

Upcoming Training Session

The Black Stars are scheduled to conduct their first training session in Nagoya on Wednesday, November 12, prior to their matchup against Japan for the Kirin Cup on Friday, November 14, 2025.
