Mathis Eboue Signs Professional Contract with Chelsea

A New Chapter for the Young Midfielder

Mathis Eboue has secured a professional contract with Chelsea Football Club.

The 17-year-old attacking midfielder is the son of former Arsenal defender Emmanuel Eboue.

Journey to Chelsea

Eboue made the transition to Chelsea last year after leaving the Watford academy. While with Watford, he made his debut for the Under-21 team at the age of just 16.

International Recognition

The talented teenager debuted for England’s Under-17 squad in September 2025 and has become a regular feature since then. He notably celebrated his growth by scoring a hat-trick in England’s impressive 5-2 win against the USA in November.

Family Legacy

Emmanuel Eboue, Mathis’s father, had a distinguished seven-year stint with Arsenal from 2004 to 2011.
