Donnarummas Agent Surprises with Italy Comeback Statement After Recent Signing with Man City

Gianluigi Donnarumma’s Agent Reveals Future Aspirations

Goalkeeper’s Transition to Manchester City

Gianluigi Donnarumma’s representative has acknowledged that the goalkeeper harbors ambitions of returning to Italy in the future, even though he recently joined Manchester City.

The 26-year-old made the switch from Paris Saint-Germain to Manchester City over the summer, following a notable contract dispute with the French club.

Current Performance at Manchester City

Donnarumma has quickly established himself as Pep Guardiola’s first-choice goalkeeper, achieving eight clean sheets and allowing only 17 goals in 19 appearances in the Premier League.

Despite his recent arrival, his agent, Enzo Raiola, has stated that the Italian player is keen on a potential return to his homeland.

In an interview with Italian media outlet Rai, Raiola mentioned, “At Manchester City, he is currently finding a sense of peace with the team and environment, and he is quite fond of the project. He’s also starting to adapt to the English league.”

He further commented, “Recently, he jokingly mentioned that spending five or six years there would be quite an adventure. However, if there’s a chance to go back to Italy, we would consider it.”

Interest from Italian Clubs

Both Inter Milan and Juventus have previously shown interest in acquiring the former AC Milan goalkeeper.
