During the discussion, an audience member raised a question regarding whether Kylian Mbappe is the only player on the French national team who “does not run off the ball.”

“Well, that’s true for the goalkeeper,” Deschamps humorously responded. “That’s your viewpoint, but I have a different take. Some players may not cover as much ground as others. If I expect him to run at least 11 km during a match, we won’t get very far, as that’s not his style.”
