Club’s Strategy for Goalkeeping Position

As reported by a local publication, Hamburger SV is looking to acquire a new goalkeeper to serve as a replacement for Peretz. Despite the fact that Peretz has yet to make an appearance in the Bundesliga for his loan team this season, he is still considered the primary backup for the starting goalkeeper, Daniel Heuer Fernandes. Following Matheo Raab’s transfer to 1. FC Union Berlin this summer, Hamburg’s squad now consists solely of inexperienced young players from the fourth division’s reserves.

Peretz was absent from the start of HSV’s training camp on Friday. Head coach Merlin Polzin clarified to the press that this absence was not a result of any imminent transfer developments, but rather due to a canceled flight.
