Nigeria forward Christantus Uche looks set to leave Crystal Palace during the January window as the club weighs up a decision on his immediate future.
The 22-year-old joined Palace on loan from Getafe, but he has not played a single minute for the Premier League side this season.
His lack of involvement has already ruined any hope of triggering the clause that requires 10 starts before Palace can consider a permanent move.
Palace officials now want to end the loan early, and Getafe have indicated they will take the striker back once the window opens.
Uche’s situation in London has also alerted other clubs, and several Premier League sides have expressed interest in giving him a fresh start.
Leeds United have placed Uche on their list of January targets and continue to monitor his situation closely as they look to strengthen their attack.
Uche has earned three caps for Nigeria since making his debut earlier in 2025 and remains highly regarded despite his difficult spell at Selhurst Park.
