“The Journey to Recovery Begins” – Conor Bradley Undergoes Knee Surgery

Successful Procedure for Injury-Prone Defender

Conor Bradley, the right-back for Liverpool, has announced that he successfully underwent surgery on his knee injury, which has ended his season prematurely. The 22-year-old defender sustained the injury during a scoreless match against Arsenal last week.

Bradley took to Instagram to confirm the operation, sharing a photo of himself being carried off the pitch at the Emirates Stadium on a stretcher.

“I’ve taken a hit, but the surgery is completed, so the journey to recovery begins now,” he stated. “It may take some time, but I’m already looking forward to returning to the pitch for Liverpool and Northern Ireland. Thanks for all the support.”

Impact on Upcoming Matches

Bradley’s injury means he will be unavailable for the remainder of the season, including the crucial World Cup 2026 play-off semi-final against Italy scheduled for March 26. The team that wins this match will compete against either Wales or Bosnia and Herzegovina in the play-off final.

After the match, Arsenal winger Gabriel Martinelli reached out to Bradley with an apology for an incident in which he attempted to assist Bradley off the field after his injury.
