Current Deal Set to Expire
Juventus General Manager Damien Comolli has suggested that striker Dusan Vlahovic is poised to sign a new contract with the club. The forward’s existing agreement is due to conclude at the end of the ongoing season.
Agreement Already in Place
During a press conference held at Juventus Stadium, Comolli mentioned that an arrangement for a contract extension had been established earlier.
He stated:
We have come to a consensus with the player: discussions will take place after the season concludes.
He further elaborated:
We are not anticipating any surprises; a deal with Dusan was struck last summer, similar to the agreements made with (Giorgio) Chiellini and (Francois) Modesto.
Comolli expressed confidence in the situation:
An understanding has already been formed, so we are quite assured about this matter. While no Italian club can rival the financial capabilities of the Premier League, that does not signify our lack of ambition.
He concluded by emphasizing the need for compliance:
Like other teams, we need to adhere to UEFA’s regulations, particularly the 70% cap on squad cost ratios.
