Chelsea’s Loan Star Jackson Hints at Staying with Bayern: “I Would Love to Remain

Chelsea loanee Jackson says he may not leave Bayern: I would, of course, like to stay

Nicolas Jackson Expresses Desire to Extend Stay at Bayern Munich

Chelsea’s on-loan striker Nicolas Jackson has expressed his interest in remaining with Bayern Munich as he discusses his future.

Deadline Day Move to Bundesliga Champions

The 24-year-old player made a last-minute transfer to the Bundesliga powerhouse, where he aims to serve as a backup to Harry Kane this season. His departure from West London was prompted by the club’s acquisition of strikers Joao Pedro and Delap, leaving Jackson with no clear role in manager Enzo Maresca’s plans as Chelsea pursues the league title.

Future Aspirations with Bayern

In a conversation with BILD, Jackson shared that he would consider making his stay at the German club permanent if his loan spell is successful.

“My focus is on giving my best here. Bayern is one of the best clubs in the world. If everything goes well and everyone is happy, I would, of course, like to stay. But now it’s about the present. Work hard, do my best.”

The Senegalese international’s loan deal included a fee of £14.3 million and a conditional obligation for Bayer to purchase him for £56.2 million. However, this condition is unlikely to be met, as it requires Jackson to make 40 appearances—an accomplishment he may not achieve.

Upcoming Match Against Chelsea

Bayern will face Chelsea in their first Champions League match on Wednesday, providing Jackson an opportunity to showcase his abilities and demonstrate to Maresca that he could have been an asset for the Blues this summer.
