Unfortunately for Chelsea, Rennes is reportedly asking for a fee in the vicinity of £60 million, and the London club has yet to achieve a significant advancement in talks.

As per insights from journalist Christian Falk, Chelsea has now shifted its attention towards Kim, 29, and has reached out to the player’s representatives to express their interest.

Despite being part of the Bayern squad, Kim has not been a regular starter this season, having participated in only eight Bundesliga matches, which could make him more open to a move for increased playing time.
