Chelsea is reportedly exploring options to enhance their defense, with eyes now set on Kim Min-jae from FC Bayern Munich. Recent insights from Bayern Insider detail that the Bundesliga team is receptive to offers this summer.

“I believe that any negotiations would begin around €40 million [£34.9 million]. However, they would be willing to consider offers as low as €30 million [£26.1 million]. If Kim departs, Bayern plans to recruit a new defender; otherwise, they will retain their current central defense options.”

“Bayern is satisfied with Kim Min-jae as their third-choice center-back, and surprisingly, Kim himself is content with this role. At this moment, Bayern is not actively seeking clubs for him. For a transfer to happen, Kim would need to express a desire to leave, but that isn’t currently the case.”

This detail is crucial; Bayern is not actively trying to push him out, and Kim is satisfied with his current situation. While Galatasaray has shown interest, a move to Turkey does not seem appealing to him at this point in his career.
