Chelsea’s European Journey Continues with Defeat to Legia Warszawa
Chelsea’s challenging stretch in European competitions persisted with a 2-1 defeat in the second leg of the Europa Conference League quarter-finals against Legia Warszawa.

In the opening five minutes, Cole Palmer had two excellent opportunities to put Chelsea ahead but was unable to capitalize, continuing his disappointing streak in front of goal.

Chelsea’s defense struggled, almost conceding again in the 20th minute when Ryoya Morishita found space in the area but failed to direct his shot on target, missing the far post by inches.
The Blues equalized in the 33rd minute when Marc Cucurella converted from close range after receiving a precise cross from Jadon Sancho.
Just after the second half began, Legia regained their lead thanks to a powerful header from French player Steve Kapuadi, briefly igniting hopes of a significant upset.
Ultimately, Chelsea’s aggregate score saved them, allowing them to advance to the semi-finals, where they are set to face either Rapid Wien or Djugården.
