This marks the third time Giraldez has renewed his contract since moving up from the B team coach position the previous year.

Coach’s Commitment to Celta Vigo

In early September, Giraldez expressed his intentions during discussions with both the club president and sporting director regarding his contract renewal. “Currently, we have an agreement that lasts until June 2026, and I am looking to extend it for a longer period,” he noted.

During this announcement, amidst speculation linking him to Bayer Leverkusen, Giraldez emphasized his desire to remain in Vigo, stating, “I am where I want to be.” This sentiment confirms his commitment beyond the current season.
