Coach’s Statement

“Since May, I’ve been in discussions with the president and the sporting director regarding my contract renewal. We have an agreement that is currently active until June 2026. My intention is to extend it, allowing me to remain here longer,” Giraldez mentioned in early September.

During the same conversation, amidst speculation linking him to Bayer Leverkusen, Giraldez made it clear that his primary focus was to continue with Celta Vigo.

“I’m exactly where I want to be,” he affirmed, and that sentiment will hold true beyond this season.
