Carrick Open to Last

Late Additions Possible for United Before Transfer Deadline

Carrick Keeps Options Open

Manchester United’s head coach, Michael Carrick, has not dismissed the possibility of making last-minute signings ahead of Tuesday’s transfer deadline.

Although United has yet to bolster Carrick’s squad this month, they did express interest in Antoine Semenyo, who ultimately opted to join Manchester City from Bournemouth.

Words From Carrick

“Never say never,” Carrick remarked. “Many things can occur, and unexpected circumstances may arise.”

“Sometimes the situation is within our control, and other times it is not. I remain quite composed. We have demonstrated our capabilities as a team.”

On Josh Zirkzee’s Future

Regarding the future of striker Josh Zirkzee, Carrick anticipates that he will still be part of the United roster when the transfer window closes.

“Josh has been focusing on getting back to full fitness,” Carrick noted. “It was fantastic to see him training with the team for the first time, and I am eager to work with him.”
