Cameroon, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, and Zambia Learn Group Stage Opponents for U17 Women’s World Cup

Morocco will host the U17 Women’s World Cup from October 17 to November 8, 2025.
The recent draw has set the stage for thrilling encounters for the five African representatives.
Five African nations have secured their places in the tournament: host Morocco, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Zambia, and Nigeria.
Morocco automatically qualified as hosts, while the other teams earned their spots through rigorous continental qualifying rounds.
Morocco will compete in Group A with Brazil, Italy, and Costa Rica, facing a challenging opener.
Cameroon joins Group B, facing North Korea, Mexico, and the Netherlands.
Nigeria will compete in Group D, Ivory Coast in Group E, and Zambia in Group F.
The tournament kicks off on October 17 with the opening match between Morocco and Brazil.
The match will kick off at 8:00 PM local time at the annex stadium of the Prince Moulay Abdellah complex.
