The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced that the CAF Awards 2025 will take place in Rabat, Morocco, on Wednesday, November 19 at 19:00 local time.

The prestigious ceremony honors the best players, coaches, clubs, and national teams shaping African football each season.

CAF Awards 2025 remains one of the continent’s most anticipated events, celebrating excellence across both men’s and women’s competitions.

Key awards include African Player of the Year (Men & Women), Coach of the Year, Club of the Year, National Team of the Year, and Young Player of the Year.

Among the top nominees are Achraf Hakimi, Mohamed Salah, and Victor Osimhen on the men’s side, while reigning champion Barbra Banda leads the women’s field alongside Morocco’s Ghizlane Chebbak and Sanaa Mssoudy.

CAF also released a Goal of the Year shortlist featuring three Moroccan players, giving fans the power to vote for their favorite goal.

CAF’s Technical Committee, national team coaches and captains, selected media, and CAF Legends will decide the remaining categories

Rabat’s selection extends Morocco’s streak as host for a third straight year, following Marrakech 2023 and 2024, underlining the nation’s deepening role in African football.
