The 2025 CAF Awards will take place tonight in Rabat, Morocco, celebrating the best in African football.
The ceremony honours players, coaches, clubs, national teams, and emerging stars who have excelled on the continent.
When and where?
This year’s event kicks off at 19h00 local time (18h00 GMT) at the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P).
Presenters and Artists
Hosts Angélique Kidjo from Benin and Moroccan comedian Oualass will lead the proceedings.
While musical performances feature Moroccan singer Douaa Lahyaoui, Congolese artist Awilo Longomba, and Ghanaian musician Fuse ODG.
List of Awards to be Presented During the Ceremony
CAF will hand out awards across multiple categories, including African Player of the Year, Women’s Player of the Year, Goalkeeper of the Year, Men’s and Women’s Interclub Player of the Year.
Young Player of the Year, Men’s Coach of the Year, Men’s and Women’s Club of the Year, National Team of the Year, and Goal of the Year.
The winners of the CAF Women’s Coach of the Year, Women’s Interclub Player of the Year and Women’s Club of the Year will be announced later due to the ongoing CAF Women’s Champions League in Egypt.
