Áron Yaakobishvili, a 19-year-old goalkeeper from Hungary, is garnering attention from top-tier leagues in Germany and Italy, as clubs from both the Bundesliga and Serie A have started monitoring the promising talent currently with FC Barcelona, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.
Current Loan Situation
Currently, Yaakobishvili is on loan at FC Andorra from Barcelona’s B team. This season, he has made fourteen appearances for the LaLiga 2 outfit, achieving a record of six wins, four draws, and four losses. Notably, he has secured clean sheets in his last two matches, leading to 1-0 victories against Deportivo de La Coruña, who sit in third place, as well as Real Valladolid CF.
International Eligibility
The young goalkeeper is eligible to play at the international level for Georgia, Hungary, or Israel. However, his representative has indicated a clear preference for him to play for Hungary.
