Bayer Leverkusen has issued a statement on their official website indicating that all 3,500 fans who traveled to the match will be refunded for their tickets. Furthermore, the tickets will still be valid for the rescheduled game. “Bayer 04 expresses gratitude to the 3,500 traveling supporters for their dedication and looks forward to their presence at the rearranged match, the date of which is yet to be determined,” read the club’s official announcement.

Options for Fans

In the event that fans are unable to attend the rescheduled match, the club advises them to return their tickets. As it currently stands, the DFL has not provided a new date for the match. However, with Bayer Leverkusen still active in both the DFB-Pokal and the Champions League, only a limited number of dates are expected to be available.
