2025 Ballon d’Or Results Unveiled
Men’s Awards
After the announcement of the 30 candidates in August, the prestigious Ballon d’Or for 2025 was awarded on Monday evening.
Paris Saint-Germain’s Ousmane Dembélé took home the top honor, surpassing Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal and fellow PSG player Vitinha.
A trio of Bundesliga talents were recognized on the ballot but secured lower positions. Harry Kane from FC Bayern landed in the 13th spot, while Serhou Guirassy of Borussia Dortmund concluded in 21st place. Michael Olise, also from FC Bayern, placed 30th.
Florian Wirtz, the Germany and Liverpool star, was among the nominees, finishing in 29th position.
Women’s Awards
In the women’s category, Aitana Bonmati emerged victorious, edging out Mariona Caldentey and Alessia Russo.
Germany and FC Bayern’s Klara Bühl ended up in 19th place, while her Bayern Munich colleague Pernille Harder occupied the 20th position.
