Bryan Robson Urges Rashford to Shift His Attitude for a Comeback at Man Utd

Bryan Robson says Rashford's "attitude's got to change" if he returns to Man Utd

Bryan Robson Urges Marcus Rashford to Adjust His Attitude for United Return

Manchester United icon Bryan Robson has emphasized that Marcus Rashford must shift his mindset if he wishes to rejoin the team in the future.

Rashford’s Current Performance at Barcelona

Recently, Rashford provided an assist in Barcelona’s loss to Real Madrid, marking his tenth goal contribution in the last ten matches while on loan under coach Hansi Flick.

Rashford, who faced challenges under United manager Ruben Amorim last summer, has begun to regain his form in La Liga. If Barcelona opts not to activate his release clause at the season’s end, he might find his way back to Manchester.

Robson’s Insights on Rashford’s Attitude

In an interview with Grosvenor Casinos, Robson highlighted that Rashford needs to recalibrate his approach if he intends to return to United.

“For me, Marcus seems to have lost his focus. I find it frustrating when commentators suggest that he is enjoying his football, as they claimed during his time at Villa. His performance there wasn’t particularly impressive, given his limited scoring.”

Robson acknowledged Rashford’s undeniable talent but stressed that his attitude must evolve upon potential return.

“Barcelona offers a different dynamic, as they, along with Real Madrid, consistently dominate their league. Playing alongside elite talents at Barcelona can help him improve and potentially rediscover his enjoyment for the game, which may enhance his experience back at United.”

Current Landscape for Barcelona and Manchester United

Barcelona is currently in a strong position, sitting second in La Liga and ninth in the Champions League group stage, showcasing a promising start to the season that might lead to trophies. Meanwhile, Manchester United appears to be struggling, and Rashford may prefer to continue his impressive performance in Spain for the time being.
