According to reports from O Globo, the CBF is eager for Ancelotti to continue his role as the manager of the Selecao following the upcoming World Cup next year.
Contract Extension Goals
The objective is to secure an agreement with the former Real Madrid coach that would extend his contract until 2030, prior to the start of the World Cup next summer. The federation intends for Ancelotti to guide the team not only through the 2026 World Cup but also through the 2024 Copa America scheduled in between.
Ancelotti’s Record So Far
Since taking charge, Ancelotti has led Brazil in five matches, accruing three wins, one loss, and one draw.
