Gruda Returns to Bundesliga for More Game Time

Aiming for World Cup Selection

After appearing in only ten matches for Brighton this season, Gruda has decided to return to the Bundesliga to seek more opportunities for playing time as he aims to secure a spot in Germany’s World Cup squad under coach Julian Nagelsmann.

Focused on Performance

“I certainly aspire to participate in the World Cup, but for that to happen, I must perform well on the field,” Gruda shared in an interview featured on RB Leipzig’s website.

Finding the Right Fit

“The club and its style align well with my playing style. The team is excellent, and the coach is outstanding. I feel great here,” he added.

Goals for the Team

“I aim to help the team qualify for European competition. We all desire to play in Europe, and naturally, I want to accumulate more playing time,” Gruda stated.

Committed to Contributing

“I’m fully fit and feeling fantastic,” Gruda emphasized, indicating his readiness to give his all, whether starting or coming off the bench.

International Aspirations

Although Gruda has yet to make his debut for Germany’s senior national team, he is a recognized U21 international and recently was invited to train with the senior squad in preparation for Euro 2024.
