Bellingham Advocates Patience After Champions League Setback

Real Madrid’s Jude Bellingham called for patience following their recent Champions League loss to Liverpool on Tuesday evening.

Bellingham commented post-match: “I believe the score accurately depicts the game; they were the marginally superior team. They were more threatening in the second half and exploited set-pieces effectively. Our defense needed to be sharper. Courtois made several key saves to keep us in the match.”

“I think we managed to establish some control early on and had a period of dominance in the first half. However, they gained the upper hand in the latter part of the game and ultimately, the result reflects that disparity,” he stated.

“It’s still very early in the season and within the Champions League. Last season we faced more severe challenges and still progressed beyond the group stage.
