In 2014, beIN Sports held the rights to broadcast the 2014 FIFA World Cup. In 2018, beIN Sports broadcast the 2018 FIFA World Cup. On 23 February 2020, BeIn Sports announced to broadcast special shows and dedicated programs for 1000 days until the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
