Bayern Munich do not plan to make a January bid for Moroccan teenager Ayyoub Bouaddi, even though reports continue to link the Lille midfielder with the German champions.
Bouaddi, 18, has emerged as one of the most impressive young talents in France and remains under contract with Lille until 2027.
His rapid progress has encouraged speculation about interest from major European clubs, but Bayern have stepped back from the chase for now.
Journalists Christian Falk and Tobias Altschäffl explained on the “Bayern Insider” podcast that Bayern have not identified Bouaddi as an active target.
They said the club may have his name somewhere on their wider scouting list, but he sits far from the top of their priorities.
They also stressed that the rumour has not gone through Bayern’s full internal verification process.
Ayyoub Bouaddi continues to play a key role for Lille this season.
He has made 16 competitive appearances in the 2025/26 campaign and has started 13 matches across all competitions, strengthening his reputation as a reliable young midfielder.
While Bayern show no intention of moving for him in January, Arsenal still track the French-born prospect and remain interested in his development.
