Harry Kane’s Premier League Aspirations Before Retirement
Bayern Munich forward Harry Kane is aiming for a return to the Premier League before he hangs up his boots.
Recent reports indicated that Kane’s contract with Bayern, which is valid until 2027, includes a low-priced exit option for the upcoming season set at €60 million.
Ambition to Break Records
According to TalkSPORT, Kane has dreams of coming back to the Premier League to surpass Alan Shearer’s legendary goalscoring record. Currently, Kane has netted 213 goals since leaving Tottenham and requires just 261 to eclipse Shearer’s total.
Potential Clubs and Options
Although a reunion with Tottenham is a possibility for Kane, the England international is open to considering other Premier League clubs to achieve his goal.
Bayern Munich’s director Max Eberl commented on the revelation of Kane’s exit clause, stating to BILD that the 32-year-old is “mature enough to make his own choices, regardless of the clause.”
