Bayern Munich’s director, Max Eberl, is optimistic about the commitment of Harry Kane to the club. Recently, there were speculations linking the England captain to a move to Barcelona over the weekend.

Following Bayern’s victory against Bayer Leverkusen, Eberl revealed intentions to initiate discussions regarding a new contract for Kane.

“Harry understands the esteem we hold for him, and we sense his appreciation in return,” Eberl commented. “He is content here, and we will have conversations in the upcoming months.”

Substitution Decision Explained

Regarding Kane’s substitution in the match against Bayer, where he did not score, Eberl noted, “There are times when he can be taken off a bit earlier or come in as a substitute.”

He explained that this strategy is beneficial for keeping Kane energized for pivotal matches, such as those against Dortmund and in the Champions League.

Kane’s existing contract with Bayern extends until 2027.
