Luis Diaz Confirms Barcelona Discussions Before Bayern Move

Bayern Munich’s winger, Luis Diaz, has revealed that he engaged in discussions with Barcelona prior to his summer departure from Liverpool.

The Colombian international shared: “Indeed, there were talks, which often happen during transfer periods. It’s a normal part of the market dynamics, but I’m at peace with my choice. I approached my future with careful consideration, which was crucial for me.”

Diaz expressed satisfaction with his current situation: “I’ve become part of a fantastic club and a competitive league. I feel welcomed by an incredible group, like a family.”

The winger moved to Bayern Munich for a reported transfer fee of €75 million.
