Flick Criticizes National Team Coach

Barcelona’s coach, Hansi Flick, expressed his frustration towards his Spanish counterpart, Luis de la Fuente, after Lamine Yamal returned from international duty with an injury, just prior to last night’s match against Valencia.

Injury Concerns Highlighted

Due to this situation, the young player was unable to participate in the 6-0 victory on Sunday. Deco commented, “We are all aware that during international matches, injuries often occur upon players’ return.”

He added, “We’ve recently seen this with players like (Frenkie) De Jong and now Lamine. I concur with the concerns raised by the coach. It’s essential for us to enhance the dialogue between clubs and the national teams.”

Deco further stressed, “Given the pressures players face, especially someone as crucial as Lamine, we all need to exercise more caution.”
