He further stated, “Each player has their own journey. Lamine possesses all the qualities we look for in a Barça player. We remain uninvolved in his personal affairs.”

Addressing Messi’s Potential Return

Deco also took the opportunity to dismiss rumors regarding the possibility of Messi returning to Barcelona from Inter Miami next month. Speculation suggested that the former captain might sign on loan to maintain his fitness ahead of the World Cup next summer.

Deco clarified, “This idea was never on the table. He has a contract, and his legacy at Barcelona is eternal, but it’s not a topic we are discussing.”
