Barcelona is pushing AS Monaco to consider a permanent acquisition of Ansu Fati.

According to Sport, the Barcelona hierarchy has already made the choice not to reintegrate Fati into the squad for the upcoming season. Instead, they are optimistic that Monaco will activate their purchase clause, which is set at €11 million.

The Catalan club aims to minimize salary expenditures as part of their financial restructuring efforts, leading to the resolution not to bring back the 22-year-old forward.
