The Medical Services of the RFEF want to express their concern after being informed at 13:47 on Monday, November 10, the same day the official training camp began, that player Lamine Yamal had undergone an invasive radiofrequency procedure to treat public discomfort earlier that morning.

This operation was carried out without notifying the national team medical staff, who only received the details through a report at 22:40 the previous night, recommending a rest period of 7 to 10 days.

In this situation, and prioritizing the player’s health, safety, and well-being, the Royal Spanish Football Federation has decided to release him from the current call-up.
