Jason Ayto Appointed as Brighton’s New Sports Director
Jason Ayto has officially taken on the role of sports director for Brighton & Hove Albion.

Ayto succeeds David Weir, who left the position last week.

Previously collaborating with Edu at Arsenal, Ayto has stepped into his new role without delay. Expressing his gratitude, he stated: “It’s a privilege to be named the sporting director at Brighton & Hove Albion. I extend my sincere thanks to Tony Bloom, Paul Barber, and the board for this chance.”
He continued, “This is a remarkable club, respected internationally for its culture, ambition, and innovative approach, all of which have been crucial to significant achievements over the past few years.”
Ayto highlighted his enthusiasm about joining during a period marked by a strong commitment to building upon the solid foundations in place, emphasizing the excitement of bringing further innovation and success.
