Agent’s Statement

Agent Fernando Hidalgo clarified the situation in an interview with Erem News, stating, “There were no official offers from Liverpool last season, and everything that was mentioned is untrue.” He further explained, “Last summer, no offers were made because Atletico Madrid was not interested in selling the player, leading to no negotiations.”

Current Status of Alvarez

Alvarez is currently under contract with Atletico Madrid until 2030. This season, he has already scored one goal in four appearances. During the previous season, Alvarez concluded his first year in Atletico with an impressive tally of 30 goals in 61 matches.
