Atletico Madrid Files Complaint Against Arsenal Over Shower Issues
Atletico Madrid has officially submitted a grievance to UEFA concerning their upcoming Champions League match against Arsenal.
Discontent Over Shower Facilities
The team is “outraged” after discovering that their dressing room did not have hot water for showers.
Atletico Madrid’s players conducted a training session on the Emirates pitch on Monday evening in anticipation of the match and were “astonished” to find that the showers in the away dressing room were cold.
According to reports, Atletico officials notified Arsenal about this issue at 6:45 PM while the players were already on the pitch. By 7:25 PM, hot water was restored. However, by that time, Atletico had already departed the stadium and opted to use the facilities at their hotel instead.
In response, Arsenal has expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to Atletico, yet the complaint has been formally registered with UEFA.
