Club Announcement
Atalanta has officially announced the termination of Ivan Juric’s contract.
Juric was let go on Monday evening after a challenging four months at the helm. He had taken over the managerial role following Gian Piero Gasperini’s departure to Roma.
Official Statement
In a statement released on Monday, the club said:
Atalanta BC confirms that Ivan Juric has been relieved of his responsibilities as the First Team coach, alongside his assistant staff, which includes Matteo Paro, Miguel Veloso, Paolo Barbero, Stjepan Ostojić, and Michele Orecchio. Atalanta BC expresses gratitude to Ivan Juric and his team for their dedication and wishes them success in their future endeavors.
Performance Overview
Since the beginning of the current season, Juric’s tenure saw Atalanta struggle in the league, securing only two victories out of 11 matches.
The team recorded two losses and seven draws, placing them 13th in the league standings.
Next Steps
Former Monza and Fiorentina manager Raffaele Palladino is reportedly a leading candidate to succeed Juric as the new head coach of Atalanta.
