Matty Cash Expresses Interest in Polish Football
Aston Villa’s fullback, Matty Cash, has openly shared his interest in experiencing football in Poland.
Despite his English upbringing, Cash holds Polish nationality due to his family heritage.
Career Decisions and Aspirations
I received several offers this summer, with various clubs mentioned across the media, both from the Premier League and international teams,
Cash stated in an interview with SportoweFakty.
From the start, I was inclined to remain at Aston Villa. I enjoy my time here and feel like I’m progressing. Last season, we participated in the Champions League, and we continue to fight in European tournaments.
I’m nearing my 200th appearance for the club, with just five matches left to reach that milestone. I have ambitions I want to fulfill here. And in four years, I plan to join Legia Warsaw!
When asked about his seriousness regarding the move to Poland, he added:
I recall their passionate supporters. For now, I’m committed to Birmingham. We have an excellent coach who truly believes in my abilities. It was easy to agree on a new contract.
Praise for the Coach
Unai Emery is an exceptional strategist and a remarkably insightful coach. He comprehends the nuances of the game and knows how to foster individual growth as well as team development. Collaborating with him is a joy. He’s the finest coach I’ve had in my career, alongside Jan Urban.
