Allegris Ambitious Move for Modrics Homecoming at Real Madrid
Real Madrid’s President Eyeing Allegri for the Next Season
After experiencing two rejections from the Italian coach, Real Madrid’s president, Florentino Perez, is reportedly preparing to make another attempt to recruit him at the conclusion of the current season.
Allegri’s Increased Openness to the Bernabéu
According to Tuttosport, Massimiliano Allegri is becoming more receptive to the prospect of taking over at Santiago Bernabéu. He is expected to be ready to initiate discussions once it is confirmed that AC Milan is no longer in the running for the Serie A title this year.
Allegri’s Transfer Wishlist
In preliminary discussions, Allegri has conveyed a desire for two specific signings if he were to join Real Madrid. The first on his list is for Luka Modric to return to the team. The coach intends for Modric to become his primary assistant following the Croatian’s retirement.
“Allegri realizes that Modric has an extensive understanding of the club, possesses significant influence in the locker room, and would be an ideal partner to build strong relationships among the players,” reports Sport.
The second player Allegri is interested in is Adrien Rabiot, currently with AC Milan. He believes that Rabiot’s skill set, character, and experience would provide an essential lift to Real Madrid’s struggling midfield.
Rabiot remains under contract with the Lombardy outfit until June 2028.
