Eman Kospo’s transition from Barcelona to Fiorentina last summer has been clarified by his representative. The Bosnian international, playing as a defender, made the switch to the Viola for a fee of €850,000.

Nusret Jashari, Kospo’s agent, shared his views on the decision with TMW, stating: “He had another year remaining on his contract… However, I was confident that moving to Italy was the right choice for him.”

Challenges Faced During the Transfer

Jashari further elaborated on the difficulties encountered during the transfer process: “It wasn’t straightforward; Barcelona initially hesitated to release him. Even after Eman’s medical examination with Fiorentina, we found ourselves waiting a day for a transfer that ultimately did not materialize. Both we and Fiorentina were pressing Spain for approval.”

“I must admit, I was skeptical, but in the end, Barcelona relented, and he finalized his deal with Fiorentina. There was immense joy among all involved; it was our preferred destination, particularly as the signing day held special significance.”
