Agent of Serge Gnabry Claims He Can Always Surprise Amid Intensifying Liverpool Interest
Gnabry’s Future in the Spotlight Amid Liverpool Interest
Bayern Munich Forward’s Situation Discussed
This week, the future of Serge Gnabry, a forward for Bayern Munich, was a topic of conversation, particularly with increasing speculation linking him to Liverpool.
Liverpool is reportedly keeping a close eye on Gnabry, whose current contract concludes at the end of the season. January is anticipated to be a pivotal month for potential discussions, as the club will be able to initiate talks with the German international, who is believed to be considering a transfer.
Impressive Tenure at Bayern
Since joining Bayern Munich from Arsenal in 2017, Gnabry has had an impressive run with the team, making 298 appearances in all competitions and scoring 97 goals.
As the chatter around his potential transfer intensifies, his agent, Thorsten Wirth, shared insights on Gnabry’s situation during a recent appearance on the “TOMorrow” podcast.
Agent’s Remarks on Gnabry’s Outlook
“Serge is always capable of a surprise. It has been great to see how he embraced his new role over the summer and built up such a positive momentum,” Wirth stated.
“He is comfortable and enjoying his time at the club. Both parties are aware of their significance to one another.”
Despite ongoing transfer speculation, there are reports suggesting that Bayern is contemplating a two-year contract extension for the 30-year-old. Juventus has also expressed interest, which may prompt Liverpool to take action in the upcoming January transfer window.
A report from Bild indicated that an annual salary between €17M to €19M might generally deter Liverpool, but since the winger would join on a free transfer, the possibility of a deal remains favorable and might be finalized as soon as the January window opens.
