Real Madrid’s Interest in Juventus Midfielder
Agent Giovanni Branchini has disclosed that Real Madrid has expressed interest in Juventus midfielder Kenan Yildiz.
Xabi Alonso’s Commitment
Branchini, in an interview with TMW, shared that Real Madrid’s head coach Xabi Alonso is prepared to let go of almost any player to secure the signing of the young Turkish international.
Key Comments
He stated, “Xabi is ready to part ways with anyone to acquire him, with the exception of (Kylian) Mbappé. Juventus is currently requesting €100 million, but that amount is negotiable if you find the right buyer.”
He continued, “Additionally, there’s the situation with Nico Williams; he’s highly sought after, yet he chose to renew his contract with Athletic and remain there. Yildiz has caught the attention of the club’s owners; they are quite fond of him.”
Insights on Other Player Movements
Branchini also addressed the departure of Dean Huijsen from Juventus. The Spanish defender made the switch to Real Madrid this summer from Bournemouth.
Further Remarks
He commented, “The sale was not executed well, but at times, you have to cut losses… In my opinion, some of the other transactions raise eyebrows, such as (Michele) Di Gregorio, despite his impressive performance last night, especially when you consider you had (Wojciech) Szczesny and (Matteo) Perin as reserve players, or Douglas Luiz, who Aston Villa was compelled to sell.”
He concluded, “As for the rest, it’s open to debate. I don’t think Juventus is in a poor position.”
