West Ham United is on the verge of signing Adama Traore from Fulham in a permanent transfer, which hinges on him passing a medical examination. The experienced winger is expected to make a £2 million move from West London to East London, where he will reunite with Nuno Espirito Santo, his former manager at Wolves.

Traore’s Background

The 30-year-old Traore, who has been capped eight times by Spain, has had a limited role at Fulham this season, starting just two matches in the Premier League and missing the recent 2–1 victory against Brighton. His career began at Barcelona, leading to stints at clubs like Aston Villa, Middlesbrough, and Wolves before he joined Fulham on a free transfer in August 2023.

West Ham’s January Activity

West Ham has been particularly active in the January transfer window, recently acquiring forwards Pablo Felipe from Gil Vicente for £20 million and Taty Castellanos from Lazio for £25.2 million.
