Milan Eyes Liverpool Defender Again
AC Milan is reportedly looking to rekindle their pursuit of Liverpool’s defender Joe Gomez.
According to TMW, the Serie A club remains keen on Gomez after nearly securing the England international in the previous transfer window.
Initial Attempts Foiled
Gomez was on the verge of joining Milan, but the transaction fell through when Liverpool opted not to proceed. This decision came after Crystal Palace halted the transfer of Marc Guehi, which affected Liverpool’s plans.
January Bid on the Horizon
Now, AC Milan is prepared to make another attempt to sign Gomez, with intentions to submit a bid during the upcoming January transfer window. The Rossoneri are focused on bringing in at least one defensive reinforcement, with Gomez identified as their top choice.
